Guide to Access Keys

The following access keys are provided in sites using the new visual standard:

  • U - University Homepage
  • S - Search Box
  • T - Top of Page
  • C - Skip to Content
  • H - Current Site Homepage

These key are used when left and right menus exist:

  • L - Left Menu
  • R - Right Menu

To use the accesskeys, hold down the alt key [Mac users: control key] and press the relevant key. Note: accesskeys work in a limited number of browsers. In Internet Explorer, you may need to press enter after using the accesskey. In Mozilla, Netscape 6+, and Opera 7+ the link should be automatically activated.
