Research in the School

Research Aims

Research is seen as an essential role of the School. It contributes significantly to its teaching and to the development of the professions. The School aims to undertake high quality research in significant areas of interest to its staff members, with results to be published in academic and professional journals or, where appropriate, in specialised research reports.

Research Publications

Details of the School's research publications are given in the Annual Reports and on the Staff Directory pages.

Research Seminars

The primary importance of research in the School led to the establishment of a Research Seminar Program as a forum for staff and visitors to present papers and discuss ideas. The Program is part of the School's commitment to scholarship in accounting, finance and related fields. Members of the School and research students attend the Research Seminars. Members of other Schools within the University, the accounting profession and those from the business and government communities are also invited to attend.

The seminar program and further information on the program is available by clicking here.
