Resources for Prospective Students: Undergraduate Study

Teaching Aims
The School's primary teaching aim is to provide education of the highest quality for students who wish to study for the accounting and corporate governance majors of the Bachelor of Business degree.

Bachelor of Business (BBus) Degree
The Bachelor of Business (BBus) is offered by the Faculty of Business, which comprises the Schools of Accounting & Corporate Governance, Economics & Finance, Information Systems, Law and Management. The School teaches units for all the majors offered in the BBus and has primary responsibility for the following majors:

The Accounting and Corporate Governance majors are offered on all of the University's campuses (Hobart, Launceston and Burnie) as well as offshore in Malaysia.

Bachelor of Business (Hons)
The Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree offered by the School of Accounting and Corporate Governance provides students with the opportunity to pursue a fourth year of advanced study in Accounting and Corporate Governance.

Honours in accounting offers enormous benefits in terms of enhanced career prospects, opportunities for postgraduate studies, and personal development.
