Professor Roger Willett and Dr Michael Falta, Honorary CRC Fellow, both of the School of Accounting and Corporate Governance, are among a team of nine researchers to receive funding for a CRC ORE research project.
The three-year project has a total value of approximately A$1.7 million. It is entitled "Integrated Mining Project Evaluation in a Risk Framework: Faster and robust decision-making" The multi-disciplinary research team members have academic and industrial backgrounds. They are from the University of Tasmania, The University of Queensland, the Queensland University of Technology and the Quantitative Group. The project case study site is BHPBilliton's Olympic Dam in South Australia.
