The pair submitted three teaching abstracts and were lucky enough to have been asked to submit two posters and a Pecha Kucha presentation. The posters were on an "Innovations in Teaching Addressing Student Accountability and Oral Communication" and “The Use of Icebreakers to Break Down Barriers". The Pecha Kucha presentation outlined the action research " Experimenting with JITT (Just In Time Teaching Techniques) to encourage responsible learners".
Both the posters and the presentation were well received at the conference. Sonia and Simone will be using the feedback to continue to develop their action based teaching research into publications for 2013.
