Paul has been an academic having worked at the University of the South Pacific, University of New South Wales and the University of Otago. He has a MCom (Hons) from the University of New South Wales and his PhD from the University of Otago. He is a certified SAP consultant in Strategic Enterprise Management and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA Australia). Paul has extensive executive education and facilitated candidates preparing for examinations by both the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants ( CIMA) in New Zealand. He has taught at all levels of the BCom degree and the postgraduate level. He has supervised PhD, Masters and Honours students to the successful completion of their degrees.
