The aim in this unit is to introduce you the variety of organisational decision contexts in which management accounting plays a vital role. You will learn the technical and analytical skills needed to provide and analyse relevant information for internal decision making purposes. You should also gain a strong appreciation for the potential which managerial accounting information has to influence the behaviour and motivation of individual managers within an organisation.
