This unit develops the discussion of capital budgeting evaluation and canvasses in greater detail the concepts of risk, optimal capital structures and optimal dividend policies. There is also a discussion of practical issues, including sources and costs of short-term and long-term assets and an exploration of the changing institutional arrangements in the Australian capital market.
