The University of Tasmania is committed to supporting its employees to improve their health and provide opportunities to increase physical activity levels. Active UTAS aims to increase physical activity levels of UTAS employees across the three campuses in Hobart, Launceston and Cradle Coast. The initiative is aimed at encouraging activity in all members of staff and to promote a sustainable increase in people’s physical activity levels during and outside working hours.

The UTAS Unigym is pleased to be coordinating the program throughout 2012, extending it state-wide, based on the original model of activities provided FREE to UTAS staff.
