What is Pilates? Pilates exercises are gentle and progressive. This class is a blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles. It concentrates on the core muscles to strengthen lower back, abdomen and buttocks. Some health benefits of Pilates include; improved flexibility, balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body, enhanced muscular control of your back and limbs, improved posture, safe rehabilitation of joint and spinal injuries and finally stress management and relaxation.
Where: Health Glo Fitness and Leisure, 8 Uplands Place, Burnie
When: Every Thursday throughout October and November
Time: 7.30pm – 8.30pm
