These scones packed with nutrition make a great snack or healthy dessert.

Ingredients
2 cups self-raising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
60g (1/4 cup) Flora pro-activ spread*
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup (125mL) reduced fat milk*
1 tablespoon reduced fat milk*, extra, for glazing

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 210°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Using your fingertips, rub Flora pro-activ* into flour until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and dates. Using a round-bladed knife, stir in the milk and mix until the mixture forms a dough.
3. Toss mixture onto a lightly floured board and knead lightly. Roll to 15mm thickness and cut into rounds with a scone cutter. Place scones close together on prepared baking slide and brush with extra milk.
4. Bake for 15 minutes or until the scones sound hollow when tapped. Spread with extra Flora pro-activ* to serve.
