The University of Tasmania Student Ambassadors represent the University throughout Tasmania in schools, at University events and more.
The program aims to give University students professional development opportunities including communications, student engagement, event management, and marketing.
Student ambassadors are generally current University of Tasmania students in their second or third year of study.* Meet our 2017 Student Ambassadors.
* We also accept volunteers including first year students. Please contact us to register your interest.
Benefits of becoming a Student Ambassador
Gain valuable career skills and share your student experiences, all while getting paid. Sound good?
As a Student Ambassador, you will have lots of opportunities for training and professional development, experience in real-world community engagement and outreach, networking, and public speaking. You'll also end up with a key point of distinction on your CV.
Improve your communication, teamwork and leadership skills, meet new people, inspire and help others while developing lasting friendships and networks outside of your faculty or school.

"My experience as a Student Ambassador has been very positive. The program offered me the opportunity to gain personal enrichment through sharing my own experiences to future students. My communication skills, confidence and knowledge of my degree have improved whilst engaging in this program.”
