If the touch panel on the lectern is completely blank, a light touch on the screen will activate the system - please do not use excessive force or sharp objects.
If no button is pushed in 90 mins, the panel will automatically power down. All buttons on the touch panel will light up when they are activated.
Panel layout
1. Along the top of the screen are the three buttons for Shut Down, AV Menu and Help.
The Shut Down button is used to reinstate the theatre to the standby mode, pressing it brings up another pop up page that requires confirmation before shut down. When activated it turns the projector off, resets the lights to full, mutes all audio and retracts the screen.
Unless the next lecture will be delayed by the projector cool down period, please utilise the AV Shut Down button to return the room to its standby mode at the end of the lecture.
The AV Menu is the first button most users will press and brings up a pop up page that lists equipment controlled from the touchpanel.
The Help button takes the user through setting up their own laptop , using the lapel microphone and gives contact numbers for Security , ITR and audio visual assistance.
2. Down the left hand side of the screen are the lighting and volume controls. These buttons are displayed at all times
3. In the central white section will be the pop up page (shown below as the section containing the UTAS logo and room name). This brings up the controls for the equipment you wish to use from the AV Menu.
Lectopia and projector status messages are displayed above the pop up page.
