The in-house computer is located in the lectern cupboard and is a similar model to what most staff have for their desktop. However in specific cases where faculties have requested, there is an Apple Mac.
Logging on
Staff that use Novell as their directory system can log on and if required access their P Drive by typing in their own Username and Password. If you are not a Novell user ITR can set up an account for you either at the Library Help desk or by phone on 1818.
Other features
- All PC’s have USB ports on the front for USB Memory Drives (Windows compatible only).
- The volume set on the touch panel controls audio out of the computer. (Please note the PC audio level itself must be turned up so as the touch panel can amplify it).
