Lectopia recorded lectures are made available to students through the web from the University’s streaming media server. Associated PowerPoint presentations can also be made available through the Lectopia recording system. Much of the process is automated and managed by ITR.
A number of theatres are set up to record via Lectopia. Information about which theatres are available at: http://www.its.utas.edu.au/lectopia/.
How to book a Lectopia recording and all the necessary user information is also at the web address above.
The actual audio recording for Lectopia is activated when you first turn on either the lectern or lapel microphone and speak. We strongly recommend you use the lapel microphone, though (see ‘Using the microphone’ at the-lectures web site for further advice on microphone choice and tips for users).
The functions of this pop up page will only operate in a Lectopia enabled theatre.
