Capital Management Plan Review Committee and Submission Process

Capital Management Plan Review Committee

The Capital Management Plan Review Committee was established to provide advice to the Vice Chancellor and the Planning and Resources Committee on capital priorities and funding issues.

Committee membership is;

  • Vice Chancellor in the Chair
  • Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) + Provost
  • PVC Research
  • PVC Students and Education
  • Executive Director Finance and Administration
  • Executive Director Planning and Development
  • Two Deans

The Committee is supported by;

  • Director, Asset Management Services
  • Manager, Capital Planning and Management

Requests for Capital Funding

All requests for capital funding are to be submitted to Asset Management Services based on the Project Submission Template and Capital Funding Business Case Template. The process for assessing a capital works request is detailed in the Capital Management Plan Submission and Approval Process and shown in the Capital Funding Flow Charts for Projects under $500,000 and for Projects over $500,000.

Criteria for establishing priority

The following critieria are used to establish the relative priority of all projects submitted for CMP funding:

Current Priority List

A list of the top priority projects will be published when it has been approved.

Projects currently underway

Project details are updated by the Project Manager and can be seen in the Project Report.
