The University engages contractors to perform the majority of grounds maintenance tasks. The standard of grounds maintenance is developed by Asset Management staff with close consultation with the service provider and monitored for contract performance.

Grounds maintenance incorporates activities such as:

• Landscape maintenance
• Lawn Maintenance
• Sportsfield Maintenance
• Tree Maintenance and Safety
• External Sweeping and Litter removal
• Rubbish Bin management
• Weed Management (certified and general)
• Grounds Watering Management

Plans and Schedules

• Bushland Management Plan (under development)
• Landscape upgrade plans and schedules
• Sandy Bay Landscape Plan - Lower and Upper Campus
• Sandy Bay Landscape Plan - Reserve
