Maintenance Requests
Asset Management Services is responsible for maintaining the University’s building assets and associated fixed plant and equipment. This responsibility does not apply to computers, telephones, vehicles or to specialist equipment under the control of Heads of Budget Centres.
Job Requests
The Facilities Management Unit manage a wide variety of jobs that are required from time to time by Schools or Sections, Faculties or Divisions. There is no definitive list of what constitutes a Job. Jobs include the provision of signage, special cleaning, special security, moving and removal of portable furniture and artwork, hanging of clocks, noticeboards, whiteboards, changing of locks. Jobs are funded by the Faculty, School, Division or Section.
Minor Works Requests
Minor works include works/repairs that are required to enhance assets/facilities to standards suitable for their intended function. This includes refurbishment. Minor Works are usually funded by the Faculty, School, Division or Section.
