Where can I park on Campus?

  • Information on the parking areas available on campus
  • In the event of an emergency, Emergency Services personnel may move a vehicle that is not parked in a designated parking space or is parked in such a manner as to obstruct their access to an emergency resource i.e. a fire hydrant.

What permits are available and how do I apply for a permit?

How do I obtain a replacement permit?

  • A replacement permit may be issued subject to satisfactory information regarding the loss or destruction of the permit being provided, and subject to payment of $10.00 to the University Cashier.

  • Following payment to the Cashier, please complete the Replacement Parking Permit application form and return this form and receipt to the Parking Officer in Asset Management Services on your campus.

How do I obtain a reimbursement of my Staff Parking Permit fees

  • A partial reimbursement of $22 may be given should a permit holder leave the University before the end of Semester 1 in the year stated on the permit.
  • No refunds will be given should the permit holder leave the University after the end of Semester 1.
  • The reimbursement is applicable to STAFF Parking Permits ONLY.
  • Please complete the Parking Permit Reimbursement form and return this form together with your permit to the University Cashier on your campus.

Parking Infringement

  • Parking infringement notices may be issued at any time through the relevant City Council to whom fines must be paid directly.
  • New Infringement penalties have been introduced from 1st January 2007.
  • The use of Parking Permits varies according to the type of permit and these conditions of use are contained on each Application Form. In signing your Application Form, you agree to abide by the University By-Laws and the General Conditions of Issue applying to that Permit.
  • You should be aware that safety reasons, State Law and University By-Laws require that clear vehicular access is to be maintained at all times to all buildings within the Campus and Accommodation Services precinct. Parking spaces and zones have been laid out to comply with this requirement. Any vehicle that is parked compromising these safety requirements will be issued with a parking infringement notice and may be towed away at the owner's expense.
