The University of Tasmania along with other Universities have adopted the Australian Standard for Parking Signs. The signage in most cases is the same as seen in cities and towns around Australia.

Parking areas are indicated by the signs and roads are marked with coloured dots to indicate the type of parking permitted;

Blue - voucher parking,

Yellow - free parking,

White - staff permit holders,

Green - student resident permit holders.

Because the University has a diverse number of locations and restrictions some signs may vary to account for local conditions. These are some of the signs you will see around the campus (PDF document).
