Timetable

Introduction

Viewing Timetable Bookings on the Web

Timetable bookings entered in the Timetable and Room Allocation (TARA) system are displayed on the web in a day/time grid format. You can view the information either by unit code or by venue, and can print the information displayed. Students can also bring up a personalised timetable for the units in which they have enrolled.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Roles and Responsibilities of School Timetable Officers (TARA Users), AMS Timetable Officers, AMS TARA Application Support Officer and Venue Hire Officer.

Timetable Room Booking Systems

The University class timetable data is maintained by Schools and AMS, using AMS centrally managed corporate systems, and is available on the web for the information of students and others.

AMS maintains two corporate systems to support timetabling and room booking requirements: these are TARA and Archibus. Authorised School timetabling staff access TARA to create and maintain their School’s unit code timetable bookings. Non unit code bookings are maintained in Archibus, which can be accessed only by AMS staff.
