UTAS Home › › Annual Appeal › Our Vision
The long term vision for the Annual Appeal is to provide the most prestigious commencing student scholarships at UTAS and build a significant endowed fund for UTAS initiatives in areas of greatest need.
The scholarship honours the commitment of our alumni and friends to the success of UTAS. This year more than 500 students applied for the Annual Appeal scholarships, yet only three awards could be made. Additional support will enable the increase in value and number of scholarships.
Together we will provide the opportunity to excel.

" I would like to again thank my generous benefactors, who through the Annual Appeal have provided me with the financial stability of a scholarship that allows me to pursue my education with greater freedom.
With both the added benefit of peace of mind from bills, accommodation and living costs, and the flexibility to purchase text books and program licenses when I feel they will improve my understanding of my subjects, I have been able to reach my goals and excel in all my subjects in my first year of university.
The scholarship gave me a great foundation to continue onto second year acquiring the skills in mathematics and physics that will allow me to progress through my entire education achieving great results, and allowing me to have a little fun along the way.
With all sincerity I would like to thank donors to the Annual Appeal and hope that they continue to support deserving students."

Donating to the Annual Appeal and to the Sandy Duncanson Social Justice Fund is my chance to give a little back to an institution that has made a major difference in my life. A few dollars a week from each staff member has the potential to give young people in the future the opportunity to transform their lives."
