UTAS Home › › Annual Appeal › Why Donate
By giving to the Annual Appeal you will provide vital support to our current and incoming students as they work towards their future careers.
No matter the size of your gift, supporting the Annual Appeal has an
immediate and positive impact, creating life-changing experiences that last students a lifetime.
Through the Annual Appeal you can support the Annual Appeal Scholarships and the Development Fund. Alternatively, you can designate your gift to a program, faculty or appeal that matters most to you such as the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal, the Old Hobartian Centenary Scholarship, the Arthur Cobbold Memorial Lecture Appeal or the faculty where you studied. Whatever you choose to support, your contribution will make a life-changing impact on the current and future students of UTAS.
You can have confidence that every dollar you donate to the 2011 Annual Appeal goes directly to the fund of your choice.
Professor Fred Chow
BSc (Hons) '72, Annual Appeal Donor
"We owe our training to UTAS, and it is only proper that we give something back whenever we can. A donation, however small, will combine with other donations to further enhance the educational and research functions of our alma mater."

The Annual Appeal honours the commitment of our alumni and friends
to providing UTAS students with the opportunity to excel.
Hollie Gamble, BBus
2012 Adrian La Palombara Annual Appeal Scholarship in Accounting Scholar
" Receiving the Adrian La Palombara Annual Appeal Scholarship in Accounting has opened up so many opportunities. It has allowed me to cut back on work so I can concentrate on my studies, and it has allowed me to consider career options I hadn't thought about before."
