General Responsibilities

Richard studied at the University of Liverpool and University of Oregon. Primary interest in the social dimensions of architecture. Practice experience with self-build housing programs in Liverpool, Tasmania and India.

Community Involvement

Long-term collaboration with Studentworks and Youth Futures in the development of The Castle, resulting in 3 working prototypes designed and built by students in the Learning by Making elective. The Castle was showcased by Design Island in 2009 and is currently gearing up for the first production run, which will provide a Federal Government supported training program to disadvantaged youth.
