Career Summary
Stuart completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Queensland in 1996. This was followed by a period in architectural practice, gaining registration as an Architect in 2002, before commencing a Doctorate (‘Colony and Climate: Positioning Public Architecture in Queensland, 1859-1909’) at the University of Melbourne in 2003. In 2007, Stuart was appointed to the University of Tasmania where he currently teaches in History & Theory in Design and Design Studio, with a research focus in the field of architectural history.
