C3 was the first full-size habitable structure to be fabricated using the School’s CNC router.
The cube is composed of drawer shaped panels, many of which incorporate built-in furniture. The cutting files were scaled in order to assemble a small, medium and large version of the same design.
As part of Design Island this micro-dwelling toured Tasmania with an exhibition of micro-dwelling models built by artists, primary school, high school and tertiary students.
