Grass by David Edgar
The Drawing Studio promotes an expanded definition of drawing and the different ways drawing is conceived, made and used.
There is a significant emphasis towards risk and an experimental spirit. Learning builds independent and inventive thinking and making.
Drawing develops both the intellectual activity central to contemporary practice and the manual act of drawing through study of the formal elements and the building of technical skills.
Drawing is the ultimate transferable skill, it is a way of thinking or acting that is fundamental to creativity and is applicable to students with various backgrounds and experiences, studying visual arts and other disciplines.
