Wes Hill will curate ‘This is what I do’ a screen based exhibition based on the theme of self-broadcast aesthetics at CAST Gallery opening 23 March 2012. The works in the exhibition will traverse the boundaries between early video art, community television and video sharing websites such as YouTube.
The exhibition will feature the collaborative work of Michael Stevenson (Berlin) and Danius Kesminas (Melbourne) as well as individual works by Matthew Bradley (Adelaide), Tim Woodward (Brisbane), Richard Grayson (London), and Matt Dabrowski (Brisbane) + Tasmanian artist Andrew Harper. Wes will speak about his practice, his interest in screen art and the ideas behind this exhibition.
