Mary Scott's work has been exhibited regularly since 1990, is included in many public and private collections and she has been awarded both teaching and practice-based grants. Mary was awarded a three year Rising Stars research grant for 2010 and was the Tasmanian School of Art Research Co-ordinator from 2007-2009. Her chief research interests include: painting and its interpretation within contemporary practice; gender, artifice and society; transgression and protocols; pictorialism and its interpretation through technology.
