Dr Keating gave the presentation to politicians, academics and VIPs including the Premier at Parliament House on Tuesday, 21 May.
Dr Megan Keating is the Coordinator of Painting at the Tasmanian College of the Arts, Hunter St.
The talk was titled ‘Blind spots, Image and Screen’. It discussed the use of traditional paper cutting and stencilling techniques to explore the implications of the screen and camouflage within visual culture.
Other presenters included Dr Meredith Nash and John Martinkus. Key guests included the Premier, Lara Giddings, and Brian Ritchie, Rob Valentine and Craig Farrell.
