From its inception, the Conservatorium of Music has established a tradition of excellence in classical music, attracting students from around Australia and overseas. Undergraduate and postgraduate programs are offered in solo instrumental or vocal performance, composition and musicology.
A close working relationship with the internationally renowned Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra ensures that tuition can be offered across a full range of orchestral instruments. You’ll have access to a wide variety of performance opportunities in ensembles, chamber music and solo concerts.
