Through the study of economic principles and practices, you'll develop an understanding of economics as a 'way of thinking', as well as the insight and expertise to understand the role and impact that economics has in our lives and society.
You'll gain a sound knowledge of the issues and factors that determine how economic systems are organised and how decisions are made by individuals, firms and governments based on human behaviour, beliefs, structure, constraints and needs.

Economics can also be undertaken at the undergraduate and postgraduate level through the Faculty of Business.
