Music Ensemble at the Conservatorium of Music provides you with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of ensembles and gain valuable experience in group music making in a range of styles and genres.
The ensemble work is integral to the Conservatorium's performance training regime and as such the work of these groups is featured at public events as well as Conservatorium concerts.
To enable you to gain maximum benefit, the ensemble program provides work in groups ranging from big bands, jazz combos and classical ensembles through to orchestras, wind ensembles, concert bands, chamber groups and choirs. Styles such as classical, contemporary, jazz, rock, gospel, fusion, Latin and world music are included in the ensemble profiles.
