You'll be motivated not only by the practical benefits of acquiring communications skills in this important European language, but also by the appeal of a fascinating culture.
French is spoken all over the world and is used in many industries and fields of activity such as tourism, diplomacy and trade.
There are different entry options available. The undergraduate program caters for students from complete beginners, to advanced students who have the option of expanding their study in French via cross-institutional study.

Undergraduate courses with a specialisation in French:
French can also been undertaken as student electives from other courses across the University of Tasmania and is a complimentary area of study for students undertaking vocationally oriented degree programs such as Social Science, Education, Business, Science and Law.
Postgraduate courses with a specialisation in French:
