This cross-disciplinary study area focuses on teaching you how to recognise the value of people within an organisation and the competitive edge good staff can provide.
It equips you with the requisite skills, knowledge and attributes to operate effectively within, or manage the human resource function in, private, public and not-for-profit organisations. In addition, people management is an important component of all management positions and studies in human resources can assist in developing these skills.

Faculty of Arts undergraduate courses with a specialisation in Human Resource Management:
Human Resource Management can also be undertaken at the undergraduate and postgraduate level through the Faculty of Business.
