If you'd like to examine such topics as peacekeeping and transnational crime, strategic defence issues, globalisation, the foreign policies of major world powers and the politics of terrorism, then this program is for you.
Postgraduate studies in International Politics are designed to provide a practical and theoretical understanding of international relations, particularly in a political context. It is an excellent grounding for current or prospective employees working in the areas of international politics, international trade, foreign affairs, defence and related areas.
You will develop an understanding of the political, social and management processes of international systems. It will introduce you to key themes and current issues in the international political arena and provide you with critical perspectives on the forces shaping the world in which we live, and help you understand how we in Australia can relate to others in our region and to the international community in general.
