Journalism, Media and Communications provide practical journalism and media skills, combined with media analysis and theory.
In this program, you'll be equipped with the media literacies and practical skills required to work in traditional and convergent journalism and media environments.
You'll study a range of relevant media theory and research methods, as well as the practical skills of writing, researching and producing media, including news, specialised communications and public relations.

Undergraduate courses with a specialisation in Journalism, Media and Communications:
Journalism, Media and Communications can also been undertaken as student electives from other courses across the University of Tasmania and is a complimentary area of study for students undertaking vocationally oriented degree programs such as Social Science, Fine Arts, Business or Law.
