Exploration of the Textiles studio will encourage you to work innovatively with a variety of tactile media.
Stuff, twist, knot and fray for studies in three-dimensional shape and silhouette. Weave, coil, wrap and manipulate fabric to learn technical skills and how to apply them to contemporary art practice.
You'll have the opportunity to experiment with stitch and fabric construction to explore a range of interpretations of the textile arts, from clothing as art to installation art and soft sculpture.
