Submission of Late Assignment

On-campus submission Information about the specific assignment submission processes on each Faculty of Arts campus is below. If you are unable to submit your assignment on-campus please contact your unit coordinator to make alternative submission arrangements. In most cases, assignments submitted by post will be accepted as having been submitted on the date that they were sent (provided that the envelope is clearly post-marked as evidence).
You will find the assignment submission areas on the Sandy Bay and Newnham campuses, equipped with assignment cover sheets, pens, staplers and a submission chute for your unit. Arts Student Central Officers will date stamp all assignments after submission and ensure they reach the unit coordinator.
Arts Student Central (Sandy Bay) Assignments received at Arts Student Central (Hobart) by 4pm will be stamped as received on that date. Assignments received after this time will be stamped with the date of the next working day (excluding public holidays).
Arts Student Central (Newnham) Assignments received at Arts Student Central (Newnham) by 4pm will be stamped as received on that date. Assignments received after this time will be stamped with the date of the next working day (excluding public holidays).

Distance EducationInformation regarding assignment submission for units studied via Distance Education (either wholly online or via correspondence) will also be included in your unit outline. If you have specific queries about assignment submission that are not answered by your unit outline please contact your tutor, unit coordinator, or the Faculty of Arts Distance Education office.
