Professional Placements in Asia
The UTAS "Professional Placement in Asia" consists of a 4 week placement in a non-government organisation or equivalent in Asia. The professional placement and project is agreed on in advance through consultation with the academic staff of the School, the student, and the host organisation. Placements can be in any country in Asia although each project must pass a risk assessment. Students will be supervised by the host organisation with the academic supervisor monitoring the placement to ensure that the content, progress and outcomes are of an appropriate standard.
Students travel widely across Asia, gaining invaluable cultural and personal experiences. Please see below for a few of the insights into the recent student placements, click on the name of the country to see the information from the placement.
