AIRC at Research Week 2013
For Research Week 2013 AIRC will be holding a forum on innovation research in Tasmania on 4th September at the AIRC offices, 1 College Road, Sandy Bay.
As part of UTAS Research Week 2013 AIRC will be holding a forum on innovation research of relevance to the development of Tasmania's public/private sectors. The forum will include four fantastic speakers and will be followed by networking over drinks and nibbles.
The speakers will be Carol Harding (AIRC) who will provide an overview of the AIRC and its activities, then Professor Anthony Arundel (AIRC) will provide some of the highlights of his research on innovation in the public sector. Professor Jonathan West (AIRC) will then outline how the lessons of success in Tasmania can be applied to other areas of the Tasmanian economy, and lastly Dr Tristan Richards (Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts) will discuss the role of innovation in supporting the Tasmanian Government's Economic Development Plan.
