Kieran O'Brien presented a research paper at the 7th Interdisciplinary Conference on Social Sciences, Barcelona, Spain.

The paper, titled "Errors in the interpretation of innovation, results from an Australian innovation survery", was authored by Professor Anthony Arundel, Kieran O'Brien and Dr Ann Torugsa. The paper was well-received, and a revised version has been submitted for publication as a book chapter, forthcoming in Gault F (Ed), Handbook of Innovation Indicators and Measurement, Edward Elgar (to be released in 2013).
