AIRC Honorary Fellow Professor Keith Smith is currently visiting AIRC and will be giving a seminar titled 'Innovation and Growth in Resource Based Economies: Towards a Theory' on Wednesday 11th March, 11.00am at the AIRC offices, 1 College Road Sandy Bay.

Keith Smith is Senior Research Fellow in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group, Imperial College, London, and Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Technology and Culture, University of Oslo, Norway.

His recent research work has concentrated on innovation and climate change, on innovation systems theories and public policy, on innovation in low-technology industries and on innovation statistics and indicators. He has published on each of these topics. He has consulted extensively on policy issues for national governments and international organisations as well as serving on government policy commissions in several countries.
