Julia Crozier is a Research Associate with the AIRC. Julia has 25 years of experience, working in senior management positions within the tourism industry where she specialised in inbound tourism and Destination Management in the UK and in Event Management in a range of international destinations.
Between 2002 and 2007 Julia was an Associate Lecturer in Tourism at the University of Tasmania. In February 2007 she became a full-time PhD student with the Australian Innovation Research Centre, researching innovation in tourism, specifically looking at how tourist attractions compete through creating new and innovative experiences.
Julia has fulfilled all requirements for her PhD, and her Doctorate will be officially awarded during December 2012 graduations.
