The AIRC teaches a number of postgraduate units, with the objective of providing high-quality commercialisation training for the next generation of Tasmanian researchers and managers, by equipping them with the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to bring ideas, inventions and innovations to market.
These units are:

- BLD505 Strategic Business Planning
- BLD506 Making Innovation Happen: Ideas Generation
- BLD507 Making Innovation Happen: Idea Evaluation
