The Economics and Finance teaching program covers the breadth of the disciplines, from macroeconomic issues in monetary and fiscal policy and international financial markets, to microeconomic issues of consumer behaviour, financial institutions, derivatives securities, market structures, individual choices and the management of our resources, including fisheries and forests. Our researchers focus on evidence-based decision making, with an emphasis on using the best available data with modern analytical techniques.
