The Graduate Certificate in Corporate Governance provides the opportunity to develop or upgrade skills in corporate governance for business professionals in all types of commercial or not-for-profit organisations. Specifically, the course addresses the challenges for directors and business.
Students are required to complete three core units and one elective unit successfully.
This course is specifically for company directors and managers in corporate governance, or those intending on heading in this direction in their career.
Successfully completed postgraduate units in other courses at the University of Tasmania or another approved tertiary institution may be credited towards the degree. Credit is also available for some qualifications attained through professional bodies, where these have been assessed as equivalent to postgraduate study. For example, courses run by the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Please apply for credit at the time of application for admission.
