Degree Rules Graduate Certificate of Management (C5T)
Entry Requirements: Academic entry requirements: Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent Work experience entry requirements: Six months relevant work experience.
Alternative entry: Non- graduates with demonstrated managerial competencies and least seven years relevant work experience.

The Graduate Certificate in Management offers students the opportunity to enhance their professional skills in business management. This degree is also a pathway for students wishing to complete full study in this area, articulating to the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration and then the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Students are required to complete three core units, plus one elective unit successfully.
Graduate studies have an important place in management development. They offer individuals aspiring to either general management or senior functional management roles, the opportunity to develop competencies relevant to the effective management of enterprises.
Successfully completed postgraduate units in other courses at the University of Tasmania or another approved tertiary institution may be credited towards the degree. Credit is also available for some qualifications attained through professional bodies, where these have been assessed as equivalent to postgraduate study. Please apply for credit at the time of application for admission.
