*International students may only undertake distance studies if they are in thir home country or a country other than Australia Studies in this area are not avaliable to international students on the Launceston Campus.

Duration: 1 year full-time. Part-time available*.
^Part-time studies are not available to international students.

Entry Requirements: Academic entry requirements: Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent Work experience entry requirements: Six months relevant work experience.
Alternative entry: Successful completion of the UTAS Graduate Certificate of Management or equivalent.

Description

The Graduate Diploma in Business Administration offers students the opportunity to enhance their professional skills in business management. This degree is also a pathway for students wishing to complete full study in this area, articulating to the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Students are required to complete six core units, plus two elective units successfully.

Graduate studies have an important place in management development. They offer individuals aspiring to either general management or senior functional management roles, the opportunity to develop competencies relevant to the effective management of enterprises.

Successfully completed postgraduate units in other courses at the University of Tasmania or another approved tertiary institution may be credited towards the degree. Credit is also available for some qualifications attained through professional bodies, where these have been assessed as equivalent to postgraduate study.
