Academic entry requirementsAustralian Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Alternative entrySuccessful completion of the UTAS Graduate Certificate in Business, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, `Master of Business or equivalent.

The Master of Business (Specialisation) enables students to combine core studies in business who wish to talior their business studies to their personal interests and professional needs with another field of study. Specilisations include Coporate Governance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Journalisam and Media Studies, Business Management and Marketing.
The Master of Business requires successful completion of eight postgraduate business units selected by the students, and four units in the specialisation of choice.
There is no single, relevant, professional body or career pathway, although it is anticipated that this course will assist students in gaining membership in bodies such as the Australian Human Resources Institute and the Australian Marketing Institute, depending upon the sequence of units chosen.
Successfully completed postgraduate units in other courses at the University of Tasmania or another approved tertiary institution may be credited towards the degree. Credit is also available for some qualifications attained through professional bodies, where these have been assessed as equivalent to postgraduate study. Please apply for credit at the time of application for admission.
